What the site collects

Browsing the site is anonymous. No account, no login, and no advertising or cross-site tracking network runs here. Three things generate data:

• — Analytics. Aggregate usage measurement runs on every page: Google Analytics 4, Heap, Microsoft Clarity, and Vercel Speed Insights. These record page views, referrers, coarse location, device and browser, and interactions such as clicks on outbound links. Microsoft Clarity also records anonymised session replays and heatmaps of on-page behaviour.
• — Contact submissions. If you email through the contact page or submit the founder or investor form, the address you give, the message, and the requesting IP address are stored so the message can be answered, and an automatic acknowledgement is sent back to you.
• — Feedback. The one-line feedback prompt stores only what you type, the page you were on, your browser user agent, and the requesting IP address. It never asks for, and never stores, an email address.

What the site does not do

Alumni Founders does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. It runs no advertising and no ad-tech pixels. It does not build profiles that follow you to other sites, and it does not ask for payment details, so none are ever handled or stored.

The directory itself contains business information about companies and their founders — company facts, public professional profiles, and links. It does not publish private contact details for the people listed.

Cookies and similar storage

The analytics services above set first-party cookies or use local storage to tell one visit from another. Nothing on the site depends on those cookies: blocking them, using a tracker blocker, or sending Do Not Track leaves every page fully readable. Cookies can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.

Where data is held, and for how long

The site is hosted on Vercel. Contact and feedback rows are stored in a Supabase Postgres database with row-level security enabled, readable only by the site operator. Automatic reply emails are sent through Resend. Analytics data lives with each analytics provider under its own retention policy.

Contact submissions are kept as long as they are useful for correspondence and for the registry record. Feedback is kept in aggregate. Either can be deleted on request.

Your choices

Email hello@alumnifounders.com to ask what has been stored about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, and it will be handled directly — no form and no ticketing system. The same address takes requests to amend or remove a company or founder record from the directory.

This page is updated whenever the services above change. The site is operated from the United States, and data is processed there.
